Is the platform really free for athletes? +
Yes. The full RSP platform — profile, all 22 programs, the 679-drill exercise library, PR logging, NCAA star ratings, recruiter visibility, leaderboard, community — is free for every athlete. No credit card to sign up. No trial expiration. No usage limits. Where money comes in: optional premium subscriptions (Track Academy Online, Distance Club Online), one-time services (form review, custom programs, race day plans), or live events (combines, camps). All optional. The core platform stays free.
What's the difference between premium subscriptions and per-use services? +
Premium subscriptions (Track Academy Online and Distance Club Online, $39/mo each) are group coaching experiences — weekly group video sessions, content library, race-prep sessions, community access. They scale because one coach serves many athletes at once. Per-use services (Form Review, 1-on-1 Video, Custom Program, Race Day Plan) are 1-on-1 deliverables that require dedicated coach time, so they're priced per submission. You can use both, neither, or just one — whatever fits.
Can I cancel premium subscriptions anytime? +
Yes. Track Academy Online and Distance Club Online are month-to-month with no contracts. Cancel anytime from your account settings; you'll keep access until the end of your current billing period, then automatically drop back to the free platform (you don't lose your data, your PRs, or your profile).
How does verification work? +
RSP uses four trust levels. Sanctioned Verified marks auto-import from MileSplit, Athletic.net, TFRRS, and Athlinks — link your profile once and your race results auto-import. RSP Authority Verified marks come from RSP-hosted combines. Coach Verified marks happen when you upload video and a certified RSP coach reviews it (3 free per year, $5 each after, or unlimited with Track Academy / Distance Club Online). Self-Reported marks show on your profile but don't appear on the leaderboard or in recruiter searches by default.
What payment methods do you accept? +
Major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) via Stripe. We don't store your card info — everything is handled by Stripe's secure payment processing.
Family or team discounts? +
Yes — we offer family bundles for multiple athletes in the same household and team rates for schools, clubs, and AAU programs. Contact us with the number of athletes and we'll set up the right plan.
Refund policy? +
If you sign up for a premium subscription and decide RSP isn't for you within the first 14 days, contact us for a full refund — no questions asked. After 14 days, you can cancel anytime and you won't be charged again, but past months aren't refundable. Per-use services (form review, custom programs) are non-refundable once the coach has started work, but we offer free re-reviews if you're not satisfied.
